Working with financial institutions, end users, processors, innovators and regulators allows Nacha to serve as the voice of the industry. While volumes may be declining, checks are still very much in play, and they’ve evolved in ways that bring new risks along with them. This course looks at the modern life of the check, from images and electronic checks to the fraud schemes that continue to target them. Students will explore how check fraud is changing, why it remains a persistent challenge, and the mitigation strategies institutions are using to keep pace.
